Category Buyer - Hospitality
Our client is a Major organisation undergoing expansion and as a result are seeking an experienced Category Buyer within hospitality. This exciting role would give excellent opportunity for growth and development for an individual with 2-3 years experience in procurement.
Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Buyer will play an integral part of the team supporting on key functions within the department including Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance.
Day to day duties will include liaison with suppliers, restaurants and internal stakeholders to ensure that products across all supplier categories are in the right place, at the right time in the right quantities, and at the right price.
* Ideally CIPS qualified or studying
* Excellent demonstrable experience of purchasing within hospitality
* Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
* Highly developed stakeholder relationship management skills and experience
