We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Strategic Sourcing Manager  

In this role, you will:


  • Lead high-value, high-profile strategic sourcing projects
  • Utilise influencing skills to drive the right type of sourcing decisions at the highest level
  • Build and maintain strong and close relationships across a variety of senior business partners across HSBC Businesses and Functions
  • Develop innovative and exciting sourcing initiatives
  • Work with colleagues across wider Procurement including Category Management teams to build robust and future-looking pipeline opportunities
  • Challenge the status quo, to support the organisation and functional journey to becoming truly world class 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Relevant knowledge and experience of delivering best-in-class strategic sourcing methodologies
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Able to build effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively 
  • A successful track record of delivering complex projects and, or programmes, that deliver bottom line value to the organisation
