Based in Manchester City Centre

£££ Negotiable + High bonus potential + Onsite Gym + Pension

About Cast UK

Since our launch in 2005, Cast UK has grown and developed consistently, becoming a leading brand in the UK within our specialist areas. At the centre of our growth are our people and we take finding talent seriously. Therefore, if you are looking for a career with a business that is committed to training and developing its people, enjoy working in a lively office and want to work with similar career minded and driven people, then read on.

What type of people join our business?

Being a recruitment business that specialises in professional hires within the Purchasing, Supply Chain & Logistics disciplines then it is important to understand your product. As our product are actually Purchasing, Supply Chain & Logistics professionals then it helps if you are also. Therefore, if you have a passion for Purchasing, Supply Chain & Logistics or are just starting out in your career in these disciplines or have many years experience then we want to hear from you.

Is a career in recruitment for you?

Whilst recruitment is largely fun, undoubtedly rewarding and financially gratifying, it is not easy! You need to be self motivated, have a strong work ethic, be highly organised, driven, customer focused, ambitious, have a good sense of humour and that's just for starters! It also helps if you know what you are talking about - hence why our recruitment policy is that we only recruit people from the industry, for the industry. We believe that this is the primary reason for our success - we know what our candidates and clients require and are able to match accordingly. Moreover, the majority of consultants who currently work within our business joined with no recruitment experience.

What is our culture?

Our culture is quite simply orientated around making things happen. We are results driven and competitive but definitely do not take ourselves too seriously. With this notion in mind, we have a company ethos of "work hard - play hard". We are extremely supportive of our consultants and work with them to help them perform and deliver success. We provide a supportive environment to encourage people to use their own initiative and develop their own business within our business, helping them to be the best at what they do.

What does recruitment involve?

The best and worst things in professional recruitment are the same; what you achieve is down to you! Your day-to-day general activities will include sourcing, screening, interviewing and consulting with middle management & senior executive candidates regarding their career aspirations, as well as forging strong relationships with clients and companies. However, your entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify new business opportunities will set you apart. The best way to think about professional recruitment is nurturing and growing your own business within a business.

What are the rewards?

We offer a basic salary to attract the best and a bonus scheme to keep you motivated. Unlike other recruitment businesses, we do not cap your earning potential or work on sliding scales for bonuses. We operate as a transparent business and do not believe in salary ceilings. Therefore, it is quite literally 'what you put in, is what you get out'. In addition, at the end of every successful quarter, Cast UK rewards all of our consultants by treating them to a range of activities. For our quarterly "top performers", we offer the above plus range of treats which include:

* Weekend trips to European cities to watch Champions League football matches
* Fully expensed weekends to summer holiday islands
* First class fully expensed city breaks
* Personal shopping experience, with spending money, at exclusive boutiques

If you are into you health and fitness then we have an onsite gym and our team regularly compete in local and national running competitions. Our modern offices are situated in the trendy area of Castlefield in the heart of Manchester and are close to public transport as well as the various bars and restaurants.

If you are interested in a career in recruitment then we would love to hear from you regardless of your background. Either apply for the position or contact Wayne Brophy on 0333 121 3345 or waynebrophy@castuk.com for further information.

Procurement Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

Procurement Projects Manager (Fixed Term Contract)
