 * Management of supplier performance though Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identifying Root Cause of issues that occur with supplier quality.
 * Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal customers

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

 * Demonstrable procurement or purchasing experience ideally with an organisation in the Automotive or other relevant industry sector such as Manufacturing or Aerospace.
 * Ideally qualified to Degree Level or CIPS certified.
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
 * Experience working within New Product Development &amp; Introduction (NPD/NPI) will be highly beneficial.

 

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.

THE ROLE

 

 * Manage an order portfolio across a broad range of parts and spares over long term requirements (3+ years) and lead the forecasting process for your area.
 * Help improve efficiency levels, reducing operating costs and inventory whilst ensuring a high level of quality and timely stock replenishment from suppliers.
 * Manage and improve the delivery of suppliers to achieve an accuracy level of 95% or more.
 * Build effective working relationships with colleagues in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Production and Engineering to ensure complete visibility across the whole Parts &amp; Spares demand planning process.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

 * Demonstrable depth of experience working with aftermarket parts or spares in a production environment, whether forecasting, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Sales
 * Customer-focused with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse range of suppliers
 * Background within a relevant industry sector such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, etc.
 * Good IT skills with experience of using forecasting tools or SAP

 

Salary: £28 - £35k + Corporate Benefits Package
