We have an exciting management trainee opportunity available. If successful you will work right across our Mortgage Operations department at our Newcastle City Centre head office.

Role Summary

If you are looking for your first introduction into an operational management role that provides excitement and challenge combined then look no further. This role will work with our Mortgage Operational Managers, gaining awareness of each of our operational areas that support our purpose of helping people own their own home through our mortgage strategy, customer experience and continuous improvement areas. You will also gain exposure to our product and service offering, change management and HR management. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in both the commercial aspects of the business and what it takes to become a great operational manager.

As part of your programme you will be supported through a Level 5 Operations/ Departmental Manager qualification to enhance your learning.

You will also get the opportunity make an impact during your 12 months and to develop your skills through involvement in a team challenge project with our Early Talent community.

What does the recruitment process look like?

Our Graduate vacancies will be live until 10th May 2019. If you are successful from this stage you will be invited along to an assessment centre at our Cobalt office on Friday 24th May. All successful candidates will join us in September.

Skills and Experience

You should have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of 2:2 degree or equivalent qualification.

Confidence to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders via different methods of communication

Strong attention to detail and organisation skills

An ability to work both independently and within a team

Willingness to commit to your own development
