Freight Forwarder *URGENT

We are now looking for a Freight Forwarder for a global client who is keen to appoint ASAP

This is a varied role that will give you exposure to the full freight forwarding process. Located on the Southampton Docks, You will work as part of a team in a friendly and fun office and be well rewarded with the following:

Summary of role:

Freight Forwarder

Take full responsibility for your portfolio of clients: Be involved in customs clearance , import, export and quoting.

You will interact with a variety of people: OEM’s, Private Individuals, External Freight Forwarders, Group and External Shipping Lines, Sales Support, HMRC, Operations and Finance

The beauty of this role is that you will be given your own client to create your own relationship with, ultimately being able to create your own working environment.

A snapshot of a few of the key Duties:
• Deliver accurate and competitive quotes for your customers for services relating to Imports, Exports & Haulage
• Raise Import & Export entries in line with HRMC regulations
• Liaise with fellow forwarders regarding their cargo
• Manage various documentations in relation to customs, import, export, clearance etc
