The Company & Role:
Our client, a leader in supply chain management and logistics solutions, are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Essex.
Duties:
- Project Manage overseas and domestic UK events
- Coordinate UK shipments to overseas exhibitions
- Onsite management and assistance for operational team
- Overseas travel for site operations/venue/client meetings
- Managing COD accounts
- Passing supplier invoices
- Issuing invoices to clients and checking payments
- Issuing Health & Safety documentation and show management documentation
Experience:
- 2 years experience in shipping & logistics (all modes) - event logistics or project logistics preferred
- Experience working with clients & suppliers within multiple environments
- Excellent proficiency accountancy, such as invoicing, passing suppliers invoices etc.
- Team management within a supervisory or team leader capacity
- An open minded consultative approach
- Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
- Attention to detail
- A desire to travel overseas and work as a team on a project
- Multi-lingual is preferable but not essential
- Customer focused / Account Management
- Customs formalities and processing
Hours are 09.00 - 17.30 (Overtime and weekend work as required)
In Return:
You will receive a salary of £28-33k depending on experience.
