The Company & Role:

Our client, a leader in supply chain management and logistics solutions, are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Essex.

Duties:

  • Project Manage overseas and domestic UK events
  • Coordinate UK shipments to overseas exhibitions
  • Onsite management and assistance for operational team
  • Overseas travel for site operations/venue/client meetings
  • Managing COD accounts
  • Passing supplier invoices
  • Issuing invoices to clients and checking payments
  • Issuing Health & Safety documentation and show management documentation

Experience:

  • 2 years experience in shipping & logistics (all modes) - event logistics or project logistics preferred
  • Experience working with clients & suppliers within multiple environments
  • Excellent proficiency accountancy, such as invoicing, passing suppliers invoices etc.
  • Team management within a supervisory or team leader capacity
  • An open minded consultative approach
  • Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
  • Attention to detail
  • A desire to travel overseas and work as a team on a project
  • Multi-lingual is preferable but not essential
  • Customer focused / Account Management
  • Customs formalities and processing

Hours are 09.00 - 17.30 (Overtime and weekend work as required)

In Return:

You will receive a salary of £28-33k depending on experience.
