Community Resources Network Scotland is a charity, based in central Scotland working to support the community reuse and recycling sector in Scotland.

We require support from a suitably qualified and experienced, self employed contractor for a short term contract. The remit is to undertake a review of our requirements, evaluate and recommend the most suitable procurement system. The whole process should be completed within 3 months, and we estimate around 10-12 days work will be required. We anticipate the key steps will include:

Requirements Analysis

-Start up meeting and discussion with staff

-Initial review of our current ordering system and process 

-Meeting and interviewing process owners and stakeholders to gather requirements This would include meetings with 3 local authorities, and 5 of our own member organisations based in Aberdeen, Paisley and Fife.

Software Evaluation

-Prepare a statement of our requirements

-Identify software product candidates that could potentially meet our needs, including any add on changes required

-Identify the indicative cost of each software candidate

-Help us to evaluate our current system and potential software products against our requirements

Further support

-We may require further input to assist us to select the best product, through arranging a demonstration and getting feedback from our stakeholders, before we make a final selection and purchase a system

-We may require further support to implement the system and get users up and running.This may depend on the system selected.
