Category Manager - Oakham - circa £30,000

Chase and Holland are once again working with a reputable leisure business as they look to recruit a Parts Category Manager. The role will take leadership of the commercial performance of the parts range across the business.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the growth of the parts category across all channels
  • Take ownership of revenue, margin and stock performance
  • Assist in the creation and development of a long-term plan and strategy for the development of the category.
  • Continually enhance commercial relationships with major suppliers.
  • Co-ordinate purchase order requirements with the buying team
  • Conduct regular stock and sales analysis work, providing ongoing insights and recommended actions in response to trading conditions.

Key Requirements and Preferences:

  • Experience of category management
  • The ability to network, internally and externally, to deliver commercial results.
  • Calm, friendly, professional and helpful - even when working under pressure.
  • Good analytical and MS Excel skills with the proven ability to handle large amounts of data quickly and accurately.
