Contracts Manager

A Regional Main Contractor are looking to recruit a contracts manager for their refurbishment and maintenance division. They are seeking an experienced man manger who has excellent client relationship skills

About the Client:
A leading Main Contractor who have been established for more than 50 years. They operate in the commercial and public sector. The business has grown through organic growth with an impressive client list.

About the Role:
Working in the refurbishment division looking after key clients in the commercial and public sector
Overseeing a directly employed team of circa 20 staff
The department carries out a mixture of larger projects, small works and maintenance contracts
To provide effective management to ensure that the department achieves its current and future objectives
To introduce new Clients to the company and build long term relationships with them
To ensure that all departmental KPIs are achieved
Liaise with accounts to ensure that all invoices are issued correctly and are paid to terms
Work closely with the maintenance manager to ensure that all small works are programmed in and carried out to requirements
Work closely with the H&S department

About the Candidate:
Proven track record within the construction industry
Strong man management skills
Excellent client facing skills and able to win new clients
An eye for detail
Able to estimate and project manage when necessary
Must have previous refurbishment experience
Some exposure to large pub chains would be beneficial
Ambitious and looking to be part of the senior management team

Points of Appeal:
Role could grow into a director level position
Well established business with excellent reputation
Most of the work is outside of London
