Purchasing Administrator

Purchasing Administrator - Worksop - £18,000 + CIPS Study Support

Chase and Holland are currently recruiting for a global market leading business based in Worksop who looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

This role will suit someone with 6 months/1-year experience working within a purchasing function who would like to develop through the role and CIPS qualification and forge a career in purchasing.

Purchasing Administrator Responsibilities:

• Raise and receipting purchase orders for all goods and services
• Place orders for new and existing operations personnel with external suppliers, via websites and company purchasing system
• Check invoices for services against operational records to ensure changes are valid and accurate
• Raise invoices queries with suppliers
• Place orders for all other purchasing from approved suppliers, as requested by operations personnel, via websites and company purchasing system
• Compile the relevant documentation for all new, temporary and amended operational customer contacts
• Maintain/report on catalogues on the system to ensure they are the latest version
• Run reports on the system to monitor purchase order compliance
• Support suppliers using the system for any order/invoice queries
• Support the team with other duties as directed by the team leader

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5 pm (30 min lunch)

Key Requirements and Preferences:

• Worked within a Purchasing environment
• Good attention to detail
• Can work to targets in a fast-paced environment
