Operations Manager

My client based south Sheffield is recruiting for an Operations Manager to provide inspired leadership to the client team.

You will be responsible for the retention and growth of the existing client portfolio and oversee and manage the delivery of services to clients ensuring that contractual requirements are met at all times.

Main duties:
*Monitor performance and track SLA delivery across the business
*Monitor invoicing and customer service performance
*Lead the performance management process and track against KPIS across the business
*Build strong and lasting relationships with suppliers
*Review processes across the business to ensure the customer receives and excellent service
*Support the sales team with visits, data provision, contracts etc.
*Assist with any trade shows and conferences
*Oversee and manage any project work
*Create internal and external reports
*Conduct staff appraisal and performance reviews
*Set and monitor team and individual KPI's
*Recognise the training needs and develop training tools and documents to suit the department
*Conduct formal investigations and disciplinaries in consultation with HR
*Assist in the recruitment of new staff - conducting interviews and the induction process
*Ensure H&S policy is followed by department and any facilities or H&S issues are raised accordingly

Skills and Experience
*Previous experience as an Operations/Team Manager in a customer service environment with a proven track record of managing a multifunctional department
*Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
*Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external parties
*Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, develop and motivate
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*Excellent objection handling and negotiating skills
