2Fawcett are recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant, to join a company located in Staffordshire on a permanent basis. This is a prime time for the business, which makes the Purchasing Assistant role even more advantageous. Working with the Purchasing Manager, the vacancy is original, and will allow you to really flourish and make the role your own.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant
- Ordering Materials, Supplies and Equipment
- Work closely with the currently suppliers as well as actively source new suppliers for future projects
- Maintain the positive relationships whilst supporting in negotiating pricing
- Place orders to ensure the materials are shipped and delivered on time
- Issuing purchase orders to the suppliers
- Liaising with the wider team on stock control and deal with any queries along the way
- General Administration duties as and when required
Requirements of the Purchasing Assistant
- Work to tight deadlines
- Work independently and prioritise job duties
- Previous experience dealing with overseas suppliers
- Very task focussed, diligent and organised
- Not afraid of a challenge
- Previous purchasing experience
- Work hard play hard
