Business Analyst - SQL - Supply Chain - Northampton

This is a salaried role paying up to £35,000 with some great benefits. You will be given the opportunity to really understand the workings of a global organisation giving you unparalleled exposure to the supply chain world.



As part of this role you will be...

• Supporting the development and enhancement of efficient metrics on inventory management that feed into the global KPI reporting
• Ability to track and analyse on process performance
• Ability to effectively identify and communicate detailed technical issues and get them resolved
• Understanding and developing business system requirements and supporting procurement optimization systems
• Providing analytical support to team members and management
• Provide ongoing support for local users including root cause analysis of issues, roll out of new functionality and promotion of best practice
• Develop and review analytical models demonstrating the impact of decisions involving inventory management and control
• Make recommendations for continuous improvement of inventory management processes and systems

I am looking for the following…

• Good working knowledge in SQL, Visual Studio, MS Excel
• Education to degree level in fields such as analytics, supply chain or business administration
• Supply chain background at degree level or working experience
• Ability to identify gaps and alternative approaches to meet requirements
• Masters/Bachelor level education
• Excellent stakeholder management experience
