Over 28 years ago we had a vision, to build one of the biggest and best ATM parts and service businesses in the world. We are now looking for a talented Supply Chain Manager to help us in our journey to achieving this goal. This is the ideal role for a bright and ambitious professional with experience as an Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Director, Operations and Logistics Manager or Head of Procurement who is looking to take the next step in their career.

What will your role be?

You'll have full ownership of the supply chain function and overall responsibility for ensuring the prompt and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials both inbound and outbound, driving cost reduction and implementing best practice. In addition, you’ll use your analytical skills and industry experience to deliver first class inventory management processes.

You’ll develop business relationship with key suppliers, improve contract management and introduce proactive supplier performance measures, in addition to ensuring an efficient approach to logistics. This will be a central role within the company, liaising with many departments and leading 3 teams; Stores and Warehousing, Purchasing and Inventory. You’ll bring an ethos of continuous improvement to our processes and procedures and develop junior members of the team into the Technical Buyers and Managers of tomorrow.

Is this role right for you?

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a good all-rounder with some warehousing, inventory management, logistics, procurement and supply chain management experience already under your belt. You are just as comfortable negotiating high value contracts with key suppliers, as you are implementing best practice management of a multimillion-pound inventory. You’ll need to be assertive and diplomatic, with the ability to tailor your communication style when working with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation. Similarly, you’ll have a leadership style that will develop and nurture diverse teams.

This is a varied role with a wide remit and would suit you if you have a strategic approach and get that buzz from instigating improvement and hitting targets.

If you have supply chain management experience, great. If it was gained within an engineering business, even better. If you already have a CIPS qualification, perfect! But if you don't, let's arrange a chat and we can discuss how your skills and experience could help TestLink grow.

This is an office-based role, working from our Head Office in Poole, with occasional visits to supplier sites.
