My client are looking to recruit an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their team.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful applicant will work directly alongside and report to the Contracts Manager. The role will involve the management of all installations from the beginning stages through to completion. The individual will work with the design team, the project management team and the client to ensure that all jobs run smoothly, are completed on time, are to the customer's satisfaction and within budget. The role will involve considerable nationwide travel and would suit an experienced Site Manager/Foremen looking for an opportunity for career progression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To manage and direct a number of sites at once
  • The Supervision of Health and Safety
  • The completion of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • To manage Site Logistics and deliveries
  • Ensure that the Project is delivered in line with the initial drawings and specifications
  • Monitor progress of the project against the programme and update the progress to senior staff members
  • To check all quality and quantity of incoming deliveries and ensure all paperwork is maintained
  • To liaise with and manage all staff
  • To ensure all Health and Safety on site is adhered to by direct staff and subcontractors

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

  • Good IT skills
  • Good rounded construction knowledge
  • Previous experience within the the landscaping industry
  • Professional, articulate and well presented.
  • Strong communicator, with excellent organisational skills

Desirable

  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
  • 3+ years site supervisory experience
