Responsibilities:
*Track capacity requirements in line with SVC customer volumes.
*Implement additional capacity at bottleneck suppliers following GES and SCM procedures.
*Organize & lead Kick-off and Key-Stakeholders meetings with suppliers and teams internal to CV.
*Provide input for Appropriations requests.
*Support assigned Customer Response Teams in Flow 5 key activities (design reduction, capacity uplift, changes, cost.
*Represent the purchasing function to all assigned project and product teams.
*Lead supplier change requests through the GES process until PPAP and SOP.
*Utilize all available tools (value stream mapping, VA/VE, etc.) early in product influence design and sourcing to reduce cost and improve quality.
*Responsible to communicate engineering changes on current parts to category buyers and suppliers.
*Collaborate with the category buyer team on all sourcing decisions on identifying opportunities for link and leverage.
*Support product line MCIP strategy sessions and ensure that design initiative within the CV product line are implemented according to MCIP Database timing.
*Perform activities with high integrity, in compliance with Global, Divisional and Site procedures (including IATF) & systems requirements and Delphi fundamental principles as lean, First Time Quality, etc.
Essential requirements:
*Engineering / Business Degree or apprenticeship.
*Relationship-builder with high integrity and determination.
*Strong organizational, leadership, analytical and communication skills.
*Commitment to quality and flawless launch, lean and cost/profit planning.
*Change leader experience in other functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc) or another company.
*Manufacturing background with experience working with automotive or machine components
