A Project Procurement Officer is sought for our client on a 12 months fixed term contract basis. This is a varied and rare procurement role working with a diverse consultancy organisation.
The successful candidate will bring demonstrable experience across a procurement lifecycle in:
- launching and managing procurement tenders including evaluation and negotiation, to award of contract and contract management stages
- developing project procurement policy and procedure documents
- preparing and maintaining procurement plans
- drafting and maintaining procurement templates including notices, bidding documents, evaluation documents, and supply contracts
- Develop a robust corporate approach to procurement by documenting procedures that are transparent, delivers value for money for Clients and is based on best practice
- Deliver training modules to colleagues as part of the PMU Project Management Training Programme
Our client work in the consultancy space so any experience working for NGO's with research programmes, knowledge of working on complex contracts with DFID would be a huge advantage.
The role would be offered on an initial fixed term contract with genuine possibility to extend or become a permanent position.
