IT Category Manager (Interim) - FTSE 100 Retail Giant - Central London - Newly Transformed Procurement Function - £500 per day

Due to a period of huge transformation, a FTSE 100 retail giant seeks an extremely ambitious and driven IT category manager (interim) to join their expanding procurement function in central London.

Based out of their global HQ in central London, the ambitious IT category manager (interim) will join an award-winning procurement function, catering for an annual spend in excess of c.£100M across various IT sub-categories, including hardware, software, telecoms, IT infrastructure, networks etc. The ambitious IT category manager (interim) will join a forward-thinking culture, assisting in managing a variety of global innovative IT projects, working closely with c-level stakeholders in addition to an array of leading global brands.

IT Category Manager (Interim) Responsibilities:

• Accountable for end to end procurement across a variety of global innovative IT projects, catering for an annual spend in excess of c.£100M
• Develop and enhance relations with a variety of global suppliers & vendors
• Lead and drive category strategies across a multitude of IT sub-categories, including hardware, software, telecoms, IT infrastructure, networks etc.
  

IT Category Manager (Interim) Requirements:

• Proven track record performing end to end procurement across a variety of IT sub-categories, ideally working with £multi-million spend
• Evidence of successful progression throughout career to date
• Previous experience working in the retail industry is essential
• Educated to degree level / equivalent and MCIPs is desired
