Finance Operations Manager - Leicester - £50,000 - £60,000 Our Leicestershire client is looking to recruit a Finance Operations Manager, in a full time permanent position. This is a newly created role due to the increasing expansion of the business. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for managing the Finance Operations specifically focused on providing strong leadership and management to ensure successful delivery of the financial elements of the business strategy. You will be responsible for timely delivery of the monthly management accounts, providing analysis to support key decisions to driving the company forward and providing commentary on the company accounts. As a key member of the team you will be expected manage training and development to ensure the team possess the relevant skills and knowledge to progress as a business. As the Finance Operations Manager you will be responsible for the following: * Demonstrated in all finance processes to create operational effectiveness and efficiency to ensure best practices are adopted. * Provide clarification of roles as well as constructive and timely feedback in order to grow the talent within the team. * Identify performance targets to meet business growth ambitions. * Management of accounting policies, procedures and controls including implementation. * Actively manage the finance operations team's input into the development of new and existing accounting and CRM systems to ensure requirements are clearly communicated, documented, tested and training plans are in place ahead of release. * Support the Finance Director with the annual budgeting and monthly reforecast process. * Challenge decision making and provide innovative solutions to issues. * Ensure that all projects are proactively managed from a cost, quality and delivery perspective The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: * Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with 5Years + experience. * Experience of IFRS and UK GAAP * Experience leading and mentoring a team * Strong interpersonal and communications skills * Practical knowledge of good corporate governance The successful candidate will have strong people management experience and will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse and interpret high volumes of information.
