New Product Buyer

The One Group has the pleasure of recruiting for a long standing and people focused business!

Due to growth within the business I am looking to speak with confident, concise and tenacious Buyers with an ability to develop relationships and liaise with global businesses.

The key deliverables for this role will include, but not be limited to.

* Protectively source multiple/new suppliers across all the relative and identified product areas
* Find and source new product areas and work with the relevant buying department
* identify and attend trade shows both in the UK and abroad to identify new suppliers, trends and areas for growth across all categories
* Arrange and attend supplier meetings to develop new relationships and develop new product ranges and suppliers across your all buying areas.
* To manage, develop and grow new supplier accounts
* Monitor trends, market pricing and identify new markets and product opportunities.
* Check and cross check product proposals for commercial competitiveness in the market and use your initiative to deliver solutions should the proposals not be competitive as a result.
* Ensure all data entry and product descriptions are accurate, spelt correctly, presented in the correct format and all numerical data is correct.

This is a well rounded role that would suit proactive and results driven individuals.

Experience within a product focused environment would be advantageous but not essential.
