General Manager - Logistics St Albans £80,000 - £90,000 + Excellent Benefits Role Profile Cast UK's client, who is a market leading retail business, are looking to recruit an experienced General Manager for their operation in St Albans. Overseeing a large team with both Transport and Warehousing operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of a busy and challenging DC whilst delivering change projects in-line with business growth/vision. This is a truly exciting role for the right individual. Skills & Experience * Well experienced in a logistics environment with good understanding of continuous improvement and process flow * Experience in managing large teams and operations successfully, with attention to health & safety * Full P&L responsibilities of considerable budgets and proven track-record of driving cost reductions through operations * Proven track-record of delivering change / transformation projects * Commercially astute * Excellent customer service focus * People-centric manager with demonstrable evidence of increasing engagement across a site * Experience in dealing with unionized environments Client information Our client is a market leading business with several operations across the UK.
