Role: Goods In Administrator 
 
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire 
 
Hours: 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday  

Salary: £22k-23k doe 
  
Our client based in Corby has a new role for an experienced Goods In Administrator to join their busy Warehouse/logistics department.

The Role  

· Ensure all customer requests are completed in line with current procedures in relation to order processing. 
 
· Liaise with Stock Control Manager concerning customer orders and stock discrepancies. 
  
· Communicate efficiently and effectively with Haulage to ensure orders are processed and transport arranged in accordance with customer requirements. 
  
· Prepare and distribute relevant documentation and instructions relating to customer orders. Ie. Certificate of Conformity. 
 
 · Communicate with Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisors where appropriate for any non standard order processing 
  
· Prepare and distribute information relating to Orders awaiting allocation due to stock availability. 
    
· Process late and special order requests ensuring Warehouse Operations and Haulage are informed through current processes. 
 
· Record special and ad-hoc charges providing detailed information weekly to be processed for invoicing. 
 
· Holiday/sickness cover as appropriate. 
 
· Attend to collections of customer stock, from making relevant bookings to attending to collection drivers. 
  
· Report any food safety/quality or food defence issues. 
 
 · Any other reasonable duties as and when required 
 
 
Key Skills and Qualifications 
 
· High levels of numeracy and accuracy is essentiall
 
· Computer literate (Word/Excel) 
 
· AS 400 system knowledge desirable 
 
· Good oral and written communication skills 
 
· Administrative experience gained within Goods In in a DC utilising a sales integrated stock control management system on an AS400 based platform 
 
· Food safety knowledge desirable 
 
· Good interpersonal & customer service skills 
  
· Self reliant 
 
· Able to work in and adapt to a dynamic environment 
 
· Demonstrates pragmatic approach to problem solving
