Operations Manager - Sub contractor Excellent opportunity to join a growing Sub contractor, turning over 50 million, focused on Groundworks across the Midlands region. Location:- Northampton Pay Rate:- £50,000 basic + Car + Package Role: My client is one of the larger Sub contractors in the UK with a turnover of 50million+ with offices based around the country. The projects are typically supporting the new build housing sector with groundwork related projects. This role will be based in the Northampton office which is the biggest division within the business. You need to be able to run the Processes and systems required to deliver multiple smaller schemes from 50k - 2million in value. Liaising with the stakeholders both internally and externally when involved with managing the projects on a day to day basis. You need to be Commercial astute as you will be creating the Commercial forecasts with in your business unit. Typical commercial responsibilities will include:- * Weekly commercial forecasting on your projects * Debit control working with the Credit control team to keep on top of payment terms * Handling Contractual disputes if they come up with the clients This company is growing and developing their systems in to more of a main contractor type environment when it comes to the processes they use.
