This cool and contemporary, design inspired company are seeking a bright supply chain manager to join their small team in London. Established 20 years ago, the company have a three year strategy to grow their business by broadening their product and price range. You will be the linchpin of the company's operation, sitting between sales and production, you will be responsible for all supply chain activities. Responsibilities include: * Manage a UK and European supplier base ensuring stock levels are maintained * Ensure all orders are produced and delivered to the customer on time * Work alongside the sales team to forecast 6 months ahead * Schedule the production of stock * Cost analysis and quality control * Ad-hoc projects to improve the supply chain processes * Negotiating contracts * Manage a team of 2 people What we are looking for: * Previous experience working in a supply chain management role * People management experience * Excellent communicator with ability to work with diverse stakeholders * Highly analytical and numerate, can manipulate data easily in excel * Experienced with an MRP system * Experienced working in a fast growing organisation highly beneficial * Must have a driving licence as this role will involve weekly travel to suppliers Pod Talent are independent specialist recruiters in the Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing and R&D space covering roles internationally from entry to board level.
