Lead Category Manager, Senior Procurement Manager
An exciting opportunity to work for this globally renowned employer of choice. With scope to work 1 day per week from home, this newly created Procurement opportunity promises to be challenging, varied and strategic. With responsibility for a defined area of Indirect spend, you will be responsible for the strategic delivery and procurement of key categories within this Global business across a broad spend portfolio encompassing HR, Legal, Marketing and Professional Services. You will be focusing on the strategic management of these category areas and will be involved in developing and embedding category management strategies as well as managing supplier and stakeholder relationships.
Experience and knowledge of best-practice procurement and experience of strategic sourcing in a fast-paced working environment is required with expertise in at least one of these category areas essential. You will need to be able to demonstrate your strong communication and leadership skills with the need to secure buy-in with key stakeholders up to and including board level. With a highly motivated and progressive attitude, you will enjoy working in a team of pro-active, ambitious and like-minded individuals supporting you.
