A highly entrepreneurial, commercial property development divison of a large group of companies, based in the UK.
The company is involved in Shell and Core, Category A and Category B fit out stages of development.
You will buy a diverse range of materials, products & services from an even more diverse range of suppliers, specific to the multi-million pound commercial and residential development projects the company has in its portfolio.
From buying ballast, to high-end ceramic wall tiles, to lighting; the diversity and mix will challenge an experienced buyer to obtain best value whilst working to strict time lines; working closely with the development director to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
The diversity and complexity of the role will require you to effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects at any one time.
You will need to have some experience of the constuction industry and be familiar with the terminology.
Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a direct communication style will ensure you will fit in and get up to speed quickly.
