OPERATIONS MANAGER - DONEGAL

A market leader in the production, sale and hire of material handling plant machinery, as well as cladding and metal fabrication services, our client now has an excellent opportunity for a new Operations Manager to join their team.

THE COMPANY:

Established since the 80s, or client has grown into a household name in the manufacture, sales and hire of material handling, cladding and metal fabrication solutions sold into the construction market throughout the UK and Ireland. They have relationships with some of the nations leading contractors, and their product can be found used on some of the biggest construction projects throughout the country.

THE ROLE:

Based on Donegal, the successful Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall smooth-running or the manufacturing and production facility, which will entail management of a number of departments including Manufacturing, Fabrication, Assembly and Procurement, with a total headcount of around 40 people. You will be responsible for overall H&S and also the scheduling and implementation of production plans and logistics.

For the right individual, this role presents an opportunity as a stepping stone to move into a more general management position in the business over time.

THE PERSON:

• The candidate should have some managerial experience (supervisor level upwards would be preferred)
• You must be organised, and process driven.
• You must be strong a completing of documentation as well as operation within regulated guidelines.
• Manufacturing or fabrication backgrounds will be looked on favourably
• Degrees in engineering or construction will aid your application - as will valuable experience in relevant trades such as steel fabrication

THE PACKAGE:

• Salary: Circa €45k (flexibility DOE, please call to discuss!)
