EMEA Procurement Manager - Fortune 500 Firm - London - £40K - £45K + Package

A prestigious Fortune 500 conglomerate has recently undergone a global restructure in order to transform their procurement team into a world-class sourcing hub. As a result, this multinational blue chip company is now looking for a talented purchasing professional to join this high-spending business unit.

Role Details:-

• Ownership of complex multi-million poundsourcing projects across the EMEA region
• Regular engagement with VP and Director level stakeholders
• Fast-track development scheme towards team management within the indirect procurement function
• One-to-one training to ensure strong capabilities across the indirect categories and rapid promotion towards Category leadership and beyond
• Building long term prosperous relationships with the market's major suppliers and monitoring their performance

Candidate requirements:-

• High level of articulacy and an authoritative presence in front of senior stakeholders
• Tenacity and ambition to achieve successive promotions within a meritocratic and team orientedculture
• Significant purchasing or procurement experience (7 step process) preferably across indirect categories (e.g. Professional Services, HR, Marketing, FM, Travel etc)
• An informed understanding of the benefits that strategic procurement can bring to a high-spending global FTSE 100 firm
• Previous experience of sourcing on an EMEA or global basis is preferred but not essential (training and mentoring provided to introduce successful candidate to large-scale EMEA deals and sourcing projects)
• Degree & MCIPS (or studying towards)
