Our client is a well-established and successful company based near Stratford-upon-Avon. It is a flourishing company which is the key supplier of fresh food products to many and various retailers in the UK. Their reputation for excellence is well known within their industry and they have built this standing whilst also being very sustainable and environmentally friendly in their processes and practices. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced and talented Supply Chain Planner to join their thriving team. The successful candidate must be ready to effectively coordinate all aspects of supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the stock checks are completed and stock availability is communicated
- Ensure that the stock levels are maintained in accordance with customer order requirements
- Provide minimum order requirements based on accurate analysis of customer order history
- Set up all necessary purchase documentation related to product arrivals
- Liaise with internal and external parties for the clearance, delivery and inter-site transportation of product arrivals
- Maintain and develop procurement stock/order sheets with stock, sales & product arrival details
Key skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced FMCG/food sector
- Fluency in both written and verbal English
- Competent in working with a complex MRP system
- Computer literate (extensive use of Microsoft Office)
- Educated to degree level (BA, BSc) or equivalent (HND, HNC or Foundation Degree) or strong Supply Chain experience
Additional Information:
Working hours: 8am-5pm; Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday
28 days holiday, including bank holidays
Due to the location of this vacancy, you must have your own transport and a driver licence.
