A distribution company is Hemel Hempstead are looking for a demand planner with a keen analytical eye to join their team ASAP! Based in the heart of Hemel there are easy access links via public transport and with ample parking nearby for all suitable candidates.
In their fast paced and busy environment, they are looking for someone that is KPI driven with the confidence to take the lead on forecasting and supplier management. They work with suppliers from the Far East and the USA and will ideally be looking for someone with similar experience

• Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
• Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Previous experience in supply chain and demand planning
- Confidence to liaise with overseas vendors
- Able to manage stock within tight time frames
- Confident to liaise with external suppliers from the Far East and USA
- Strong forecasting and analytical skills
- Able to commute to Hemel Hempstead on a daily basis.
