Purchasing Administrator - Maternity Cover Contract

C£18k - £22k per annum pro rata doe

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator to join a well established manufacturing company in the purchasing team where you will be responsible for placing and expediting purchase orders.

The main duties include:

  • Placing purchase orders.
  • Updating delivery information.
  • Giving delivery updates by telephone and email.
  • Liaise with stores to chase up the booking in of deliveries.
  • Report cost variance.
  • MRP reports.

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong administration skills with knowledge of MS.
  • Recent experience within an office environment ideally within a purchasing admin role.
  • Motivated and confident communicator.
  • Good at problem solving.
