e are working with a leading Youth Charity who are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager on a 1 year fixed term with the possibility to extend/made permanent.
As Procurement Manager you will develop a detailed understanding of all non payroll related expenditure, and drive savings and other procurement efficiencies across the organisation by consolidating and negotiating purchase arrangements for major spends.
Key responsibilities include
- Develop a deep understanding of all non payroll related expenditure.
- Source and negotiate contracts.
- To develop an effective and consistent procurement strategy.
- To manage and monitor major contracts.
They are looking for a CIPS qualified individual with in depth procurement experience achieving cost reductions.
