Our client has been serving their own great tasting seasonal recipes for over 20 years and how have over 90 stores throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for a Franchise Operations Manager to join their team.
This role will report directly to the Retail Operations Director.
As a Franchise Operations Manager, you’ll work with new and existing franchisees to drive sales and profitability in their stores.
You’ll provide support to the on-boarding of new franchisees, including planning and managing new store openings from initial stages through to post opening following a thorough and structured process.
You will be responsible for providing franchisees with support and advice on the brand, standards & procedures and ensure they maintain the required brand and operating standards in their stores, in order to reach business plan targets.
You will be expected to conduct regular shop visits in the UK and Internationally to support and agree actionable operational target plans to drive sales and profitability.
Amongst the Key Experience and Skills required are:
- Experience of developing relationships in the franchise sector
- Excellent Influencing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent commercial acumen with a sound understanding of cost control, financial planning and budget setting processes.
- Strong People Management Skills
- The ability to lead and manage several projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must
- French and Spanish speaking and writing is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in business, administration/management, communications, or a related field
- 5+ years in Food Retail and/or business development of premium brand(s) within UK marketplace
