Procurement Manager - Packaging & Product Category Manager required for fast growing London start-up!

This organisation are in their infancy and have just launched their first two products into the healthcare sector. Founded by two amazingly smart professionals this organisation have grown rapidly in the last 6-12 months, gaining £5 million investment and growing from 3 to 20 employees in that time frame. This organisation are driving and developing products within men's health and wellbeing range.

Your new role
This role is for someone that can lead and develop the procurement for products and packaging within the men's healthcare and well being range and is confident dealing with suppliers and leading negotiations. You will be defining the overall strategy for the procurement and find the best solutions with your suppliers in the market to ensure the most cost-effective solution for the products. You will be working very closely with your key stakeholders within marketing to define the best market offering and how to get the service you need from your suppliers. One you have placed the orders with the suppliers it will be your responsibility to work in partnership with those suppliers in order that your goods arrive on time.

You will be reporting into the Supply Chain Lead who joined the business six months ago and is loving it! He is ex-big consultancy and brings a lot of knowledge and experience into the team and is looking for someone with big ambitions to join the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be prior experience within a procurement role, regardless of category. They will be looking for a proactive professional who can liaise with suppliers to get the best commercial outcome. You will be self-driven and want to work within a fast growing start up organisation. If you have procurement experience within packaging, retail, or eCommerce then this is advantageous, but not a must.
