Specialist sectors: Freight Forwarding / Customs Entries / Import / CHIEF / Tariff Classification
Package: £25,000 - £32,000
Excellent opportunity to join a highly successful global forwarding business.
Duties:
- Processing Import Entries (Home use , SFD ,C21 and in bond)
- Calculating Duty/VAT, Invoicing out ,processing FAS payments
- Processing Post Clearance amendments
- Dealing with general enquiries related to Customs clearance process and any additional documentation requirements
- Liaising with colleagues internally on a daily basis regarding clearance
Required experience:
- Import forwarding experience - Customs
- Knowledge of Customs process , Tariff classification and all Import related formalities
- Knowledge of Inventory systems (CNS and Destin8 ) , CHIEF and the like
- Excellent Input Entry and IT skills, use of Customs software-ideally Cargowise
- Processing a wide range of Customs entries for FCL and LCL shipments
