Purpose of the Role:

  • To support in the development and delivery a Procurement strategy for the group - addressable
  • Act as an enabler for the Group to procure Services and Goods.
  • Create and manage Category Plans.
  • Run RFI/RFP/Contract negotiations/renewals processes for high value acquisitions.
  • Advise on RFI/RFP/Contract negotiations/renewals processes for low value acquisitions.
  • Ensure all Suppliers are correctly setup in the P2P system.
  • Provide MI on Suppliers to the Group and spend.

Job Description:

  • Representing the Ardonagh Group regarding Procurement with relevant strategic partners and forming key relationships, to build successful working relationships, that support effective, customer focussed implementations and improvements.
  • Ensuring effective asset and vendor management aligning business and operational needs and objectives and property strategies and plans.
  • Acting as SME, supporting M & A activity across the group.
  • Ensuring all vendor relationships are managed in a compliant way, mitigating risk and maximising service quality.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Improve performance of the Group’s ability to purchase goods and services in a cost effective, fit for purpose, and timely manner.
  • Effective procurement of services and vendor management.

Essential Criteria - Must be clearly demonstrated on CV

  • Previous experience working with external agencies and vendors.
  • Previous experience within procurement within a professional environment.
  • Experience of successful contract procurement and management of suppliers and service providers.
  • Educated to degree level or suitable Procurement experience.
  • Member of professional body working or towards professional accreditation e.g. CIPS, etc.

Also Essential

  • Analytical skills to understand and use data to build an accurate picture of procurement risks, benefits and business cases.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong networks to influence senior managers, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate staff and teams to effectively self-serve Procurement.

This role would suit someone who has operated at Analyst level and is looking to develop their career.
