Contingent Workforce Category Lead - Global FMCG Major - £60-70k + Excellent Benefits Package - West London + Flexible Working - Multi-National Transformation Projects

As part of an ongoing global transformation, esteemed FMCG major seeks an ambitious, high-achieving procurement specialist to drive much-needed improvement on Contingent Workforce spends, across Europe. Joining an organisation famed for their innovative sourcing methods, this position will be tasked with harmonising a scattered stakeholder base - working with autonomy to create long-standing category strategies that prioritise achieving commercial benefits for the business - in the form of cost-savings, positive supplier relationships, excellent service delivery and a continuously improving category area. This position will shape a key area of spend for an organisation that takes pride in professional development, placing the successful individual in a strong position to demonstrate their capability and achieve future progression opportunities at a rapid rate.

Contingent Workforce Category Lead, role overview:-

  • Collaborating with Regional and in-country Heads of Procurement & HR Execs to drive unified category strategy for Temporary & Contingent Recruitment / Labour across 50+ countries
  • Partnering with the HR Leadership Team to continue Procurement's evolution and gain increasing control over budgets and key suppliers
  • Unlocking innovation and building strategic supplier partnerships
  • Being the Firm's Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Resourcing & Labour, demonstrating expertise across Staffing Solutions, MSPs, RPOs, Neutral Vendor Models v Direct Sourcing, as well as regulations and key trends
  • Inspiring the wider Procurement team around you, providing insightful leadership and effectively managing resources on category & sourcing projects

Required skills / background:-

  • Impressive Procurement & Category Management career, with evidence of quick progression & high commercial achievement (cost savings, risk mitigation, SRM)
  • HR & Resourcing (Temporary & Contingent Labour / Recruitment) category expertise
  • Exceptional engagement skills, with a proven track record in influencing Executives to further Procurement's image
  • Strong demand management, financial analysis, research and presentation skills
  • Degree & MCIPS preferred though not essential
