Professional Services Category Manager - Leading Transport Organisation - London - £45k - £55k + excellent package

Following an exciting period of growth, a leading transport organisation looks to add a driven and ambitious professional services category manager to their award-winning procurement function.

Working out of their global HQ in London, the ambitious professional services category manager will cater for an annual spend in excess of £120M, predominantly taking control of professional services, including: HR, contingent labour, finance, audit, consultancy etc. & also IT professional services. The professional services category manager will join a fast-paced environment, currently experiencing a huge period of exponential growth and allowing for fantastic career progression at an accelerated rate.

Basic salary: £45k-£55k + excellent package (including: 25% bonus, private healthcare, life assurance, pension, flexible working & many more benefits)

Professional Services Category Manager Responsibilities:

• Accountable for an annual spend in excess of £120M across a variety of professional services procurement categories, including: HR, contingent labour, finance etc. & IT professional services procurement categories
• Lead and implement a variety of strategic category plans independently
• Develop and maintain relations with a multitude of well-esteemed stakeholders, vendors and suppliers
• Responsible for the end to end procurement across the above-mentioned professional services and IT professional services
  
  

Professional Services Category Manager Requirements:

• Proven track record performing strategic end to end procurement within professional services/ an indirects procurement generalist background with some professional services experience
• Very strong SRM skills
• Evident successful progression throughout career to date
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills
• Educated to degree level/equivalent and MCIPs desired but not essential
