A family run, owner managed business based in Hatfield are currently seeking a finance and logistics assistant to join their friendly team. The role works closely with two long-standing employees to assist with the finance function as well as play an integral part of the supply chain. The role requires excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and prior experience within a finance or logistics environment.

Duties will include:

  • Receipt goods received from warehouses
  • Reconciliation of stock held against an in-house system
  • Raise and create purchase order numbers
  • Track stock movement and ensure stock levels are maintained
  • Process purchase invoices, stock, and expenses
  • Raise sales invoices for orders placed

Requirements:

  • Experience of bookkeeping, accounting, and financial administration.
  • Experience dealing with stock and supply chain would be desirable
  • IT skills (Microsoft Excel experience essential)
  • A positive outlook and ability to work well within a team.
