My client a leading provider of community wellbeing across the North and a Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for are looking to hire an ambitious and experienced Contracts Manager to join their established facilities team. The purpose of the contracts manager role is to procure and manage specialist Mechanical and Electrical contracts for non-domestic properties throughout the North.

The Contracts Manager hours of work will be 36.25 per week, Monday to Friday and your core hours will be 9-5.

As a Contracts Manager, you will:

  • Ensure contract information and service records are accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Ensure forecasting and budget expenditure is managed effectively.
  • Manage fleet vehicles ensuring compliance and maximise vehicle utilisation in use.
  • Negotiate prices with contractors and suppliers to achieve Value for Money
  • Ensure compliance in relation to H&S guidelines/legislation

As a Contracts Manager, you will have:

  • A recognised Management Qualification.
  • IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent qualification/experience).
  • Experience of planning/scheduling work and coordinating the work of others.
  • Experience working in a customer focussed environment.
  • Competent user of IT applications.
