NPR Buyer - Indirect Services - Manufacturing

An exciting opportunity to join a market leading manufacturing business who are growing their Purchasing team. This is a genuine opportunity to join a company who are moving forward and who are looking for progressive candidates to join them on this journey. This role has been created out of growth and will focus on the Services Categories such as Consumables, Travel, PPE, Fleet and Utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive greater value and lower costs of Purchased Non Product Related goods and services by leveraging the companies global buying power and combined knowledge
• Support the site to maintain their NPR Budget
• Mimise risks by negotiating appropriate contracts with Service Level Agreement and penalties
• Improve working capital and cash via supplier payment terms
• Increase NPR Procurement efficiency by implementing process and technology initiatives. Manage NPR preferred supplier relationships to ensure continuos improvement in quality of service and value
• Participate in cross functional projects linked with the growth objectives of the company
• Manage key projects at global or regional level accordingly to agreed road map/action plan
• Integrate acquistions and achieve targeted synergies
• Ensure that the proper procurement process is followed for every NPR request

KPI's:

• NPR Savings
• Percentage of preferred supplier spend
• NPR spend as percentage of sales
• Budgeted NPR Spend vs. Actual spend

This role is suitable for candidates who are looking to start their career in Purchasing or Assistant Buyers looking to step up.

What you get in return:

• Salary up to £30,000 depending on knowledge and background
• Pension (3&5% or 5&7%)

• Working Hours Monday to Thursday 8-5 (flexible) Friday 8.30-12.30pm
