Senior Contracts Manager

On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager.

Our client is a successful and dynamic Design, Project Management Interiors Company and they are looking for a highly ambitious Contracts Manager to join this fast growing company. For the right person, there is fantastic career opportunities.

The ideal person will be extremely hard working, ambitious, educated to degree level, qualified in a technical or commercial discipline with advanced communication skills to meet and exceed business demands. Previous experience of refurbishment projects is essential to grow and develop this new division.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage project finances.
  • Deliver multiple projects on time and within budget to the client’s satisfaction
  • Take full ownership of project budgets and report financial performances to the board
  • Manage the technical and commercial contractual agreements throughout the project
  • Agree Technical & Commercial terms and conditions with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure all risk assessments, method statements, and SHEQ are in place for staff and sub-contractors.
  • Co-ordination with other trades through design and installation process.
  • Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of projects and the company

Essential skills experience and Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and CAD systems
  • Degree qualified ideally in a technical field
  • Prince 2 practitioner (ideally not essential)
  • Managed projects budgets and forecasts
  • Managed projects within construction fit out
  • Knowledge of furniture design/installation
