Our client, an international engineering organisation based in the Doncaster area, is now looking to recruit a Technical Buyer on a permanent basis to join their team asap.
Objective of Role:
• Ensure all purchase parts are bought under budget
• Ensure all purchase parts are bought on time
• Ensure all purchase orders are delivered on time
• Ensure all inventory parts are available at agreed levels
Responsibilities:
• MRP - Efficient and timely actioning of MRP
• Expedition of and feedback concerning all outstanding purchase orders
• Maintenance of agreed inventory levels
• Review of inventory levels to ensure company needs are met
Roles:
• Daily actioning of MRP and purchasing requirements.
• Contributing to cost down projects as detailed by the Procurement Manager
• Feedback to proposals on savings/non savings
• Help Proposals/Sales source best costs items to help win business.
• Daily investigation of any reports of late deliveries by suppliers
• Liaising with Procurement Manager over supplier performance issues
