Exciting Supplier Performance Manager opportunity to join this leading edge global technology organisation who are going through a continued successful period of growth…  

The Supplier Performance Manager will work with suppliers to ensure that they are meeting the agreed KPIs and SLAs.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define supplier performance measures

  • Understand from internal stakeholders (Finance, Quality, Product, Technical, Sales etc) what the key requirements are for the business being supported by the supplier and define the key measures to be reported. Ensure supplier is aligned to supporting these metrics

  • Obtain the relevant data and produce reports

  • Define the reporting format and frequency

  • Ensure that data exists for all agreed measures and run the routine for obtaining the data and publishing reports

  • Produce the monthly, quarterly and annual supplier performance reports, and circulate to identified stakeholders in both organisations to the agreed reporting schedules

  • Align the organisations to current status and key priorities

  • Conduct internal review sessions to agree the current performance position of the supplier and agree priority actions for resolution

  • Identify and agree with key stakeholders, any opportunities for joint value between the organisation and supplier

  • Define the supplier strategy

  • Work in coordination with central procurement to define the strategy for each supplier, based on performance measures, relationship and future requirements (technical, sales etc)

  • Collate and provide input to procurement for supplier selection during sourcing phase.

  • Be the expert on the supplier – keep abreast of supplier business strategy, financial performance, news, developments etc, and provide regular reports into procurement and other relevant stakeholder groups.

  • Organise and conduct / facilitate regular supplier meetings with key stakeholders

  • In accordance with the governance schedule, manage or facilitate the meetings

  • Ensure data and reports are circulated in advance and agenda is set and communicated to all attendees

  • Ensure presence from the appropriate staff from both organisations are attending based on the agenda and meeting objectives

  • Escalate issues for resolution

  • Ensure timely escalation of issue both internally and with the supplier to the relevant point

  • Maintain the escalation route map for both parties, clearly identifying the key people and roles in both organisations to the agreed escalation routing

  • Joint value creation and continuous improvement

  • Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholder to identify and manage continuous improvement projects
