Finance and Operations Director

The Finance division of SF Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well established SME based in Corby to recruit a Finance and Operations Director on a permanent basis.

The Finance and Operations Director role is not overly technical, more commercially weighted. You will get the chance to be involved operationally and will work closely with the MD gaining exposure to the business as a whole.

You will likely have operated at the Finance Manager level within a small to medium sized company. What you may not have at the moment is the opportunity to progress. Well, this is a great opportunity for a forward thinking individual to operate as part of the senior management team, heading up finance and driving  the business forwards.

The main responsibilities of the Finance and Operations Director:

• Production of the monthly management accounts and management information packs for the  MD and senior management
• Oversee daily cash flow reports
• Ensuring staff maintain processes and systems in terms of stock reporting and production plans.
• Prepare and analyse budget vs actual variance reporting
• Preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements
• Building effective relationships with external stakeholders such as the banks and auditors
• Responsible for the annual audit
• All aspects of finance including, expenses, budgets, forecasting, year end and monthly and quarterly accounts.

The Finance and Operations Director will be:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Newly / Part Qualified,
• Commercially aware.
• Experienced in a SME organisation.
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment.

Generous remuneration package:

• £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
• Performance related bonus incentive
