Your new role

New opportunity has arisen for a Lead Buyer with expertise in the Electronic / Electronic category area.

• You will be supporting the development and implementation of Group category Strategy
• Leading negotiations with suppliers to optimise cost, delivery and quality of products
• Taking active part in multi-functional and international teams to support definition and negotiation strategies for specific categories and projects
• Contributing to managing supplier performance in support of the supply chain managers operational targets

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Electrical / Electronic technologies e.g. Test Equipment, Interconnects, Electronic Components
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawing data packs (Essential)
• Significant practical experience, vocational or academic qualifications
• Good understanding of cost make up

What you'll get in return
Salary up to £42,000, Flexible working and paid overtime
