Overview

The European Sales Operations Director (London Based) will Strategically manage several functions essential for running the sales forecast for the region, sales force productivity and effectiveness, reporting, sales process optimisation, as well as be aligned to the strategic objectives of Sales Leadership for the European theatre.

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Sales Operations and will take direction and priorities from that organisation, while maintaining a successful business partnership with sales leadership. This position will initially be an individual contributor role, with opportunity for growth.

Performance Objectives

  • Coordinate and lead sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes for Europe.
  • Serve as the deputy to the head of Sales Operations to the European Sales Theatre and address most general day to day tactical business issues, escalating as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Sales Operations to drive strategy through systems, tools, process, and programs.
  • Monitor the assigned sales organisation's compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data and data quality programs.
  • Build peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel and act as a liaison/partner between the Sales team and other internal customers.
  • Work closely with sales management to review sales process quality and prioritise opportunities for improvement; assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies Make fact-based decisions, including analysing and using data to achieve sales goals and drive execution.
  • Proactively monitor the quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales organisation's planning efforts.
  • Be accountable for the thorough implementation of initiatives impacting the sales organisation.
  • Identify opportunities and weaknesses within territories and make proposals to create value and increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide support for divisional leadership (e.g., reporting for RVPs), as necessary.
  • Complete sales forecasts and sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the appropriate objectives and priorities within the sales organisation are supported.
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organisation, including recommending revisions to existing reports and/or assisting in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Coordinate training delivery to sales, sales management and sales support personnel.
  • Work closely with the deal desk team to address contract issues or concerns and to ensure the timeliness of contract review.
  • Facilitate achievement of sales, profit and strategic objectives.
