Cambridge University Press has an opportunity available for a Supply Planner to join the team based in Cambridge. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, we are offering acompetitive salary of £23,801 - £27,609 per annum plus benefits.

About the role:

We have an opportunity for a dynamic and energetic Supply Planner to join the Product Supply team in our English Language Teaching (ELT) department. This is a varied role in a dynamic and fast paced environment, which requires someone who is highly analytical, organised and calm under pressure.

Working with colleagues globally and across multiple departments, this role will support the Supply Planning Team who manages the global stockholding for the ELT department.

Skills and experience required to become our Supply Planner:

- proven history of inventory planning, reviewing stock levels, placing orders based on analysis and actively managing schedules

- strong understanding of the impact effective supply planning has on maintaining agreed customer service levels and vendor/company target KPIs; at the Press we have a Customer First approach

- Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the supply process

- Advanced MS Excel skills

- Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous

We will also consider applications from candidates with less experience but have an interest in this type of work and can also demonstrate the skills and behaviours we are looking for.
