Our client based in Gloucestershire is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join the team.

The company provides a range of both IP and Serial based Data Backhaul solutions via GPRS/3G, and Satellite networks for SCADA/Telemetry applications.

You will primarily be responsible for sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, CRM maintenance, the development and maintenance of the company's RFP response factory and internal wiki, development of the tariff building tool and management of the e-commerce platform.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Group Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Sales to create and maintain a world-class sales culture, focused on consistently ensuring that business is conducted with integrity at all times
  • Be the co-owner with the designated Business Development Manager of RFP responses, coordinating interdepartmental alignment, pricing, and delivery of world-class proposal responses.
  • Deliver the mechanics of the RFP factory and develop the process and procedure for quick, effective turnaround both directly and in partnership with our strategic alliance partners.
  • Own the e-commerce platform roll-out and associated reporting of sales to the group Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Effectively manage Sales Operations expenses to ensure the delivery of internal gross margin goals.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations.
  • Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives, and internal resources in order to assist the sales team in accomplishing company goals
